Nation-wide campaign raises much-needed awareness
Proud to support the first ever Women’s Health Week in Aotearoa, which is dedicated to the health of ALL Kiwi women (both cis and trans) and gender-diverse people.
Why is it needed? We believe that this is long overdue as wāhine tend to prioritise the health of their whānau over their own. Did you know that 57% of women don't get annual health checks and 40% of women are uncomfortable discussing their health with friends?
This nation-wide campaign is led by Cecilia Robinson and Tend Health Ltd. Over the course of the next 7 days, they will be sharing content ranging from fertility, cancers, menstruation, menopause, maternal health, and much more. As Cecilia says, “When women have access to quality healthcare, they’re better able to achieve their goals, participate in the workforce, contribute to economic growth, and support their families' health and wellbeing.”
